Airline PIlot

Decades ago magazine cartoons were very popular, and could make a freelance cartoonist a nice chunk of change. Like many freelancers of the time, I submitted my work to a variety magazines. Cartoonists, like authors, better be able to handle Rejection. I was lucky enough to be regularly published in the “Light Flight” section of Airline Pilot Magazine, along with two other airline pilot/cartoonists. Another publication where I was regularly featured was Leatherneck Magazine, in the section titled, “Leatherneck Laffs.”
